Here is exactly what this site does and does not do with the file you upload.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your information. To anyone. Ever.
• We do not send marketing email. Not to you, not to your school.
• We do not store the contents of the documents you upload.
• We do not use your documents to train any model.
• We do not run third-party trackers or session recorders.

What happens when you upload a file

1. The file is held on our server long enough to convert it, usually under two minutes, then deleted. Worst case it is gone within one hour.
2. The text of the document is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to work out the layout. Anthropic does not train on API inputs.
3. We never write the document's contents to a database, a log file, or an analytics service. The only thing recorded is the basics: file size, page count, the settings you picked, and whether the conversion worked.

Email collection

We do not collect one. There is no signup, no account, and no email field anywhere on this site. There is also no mailing list to add you to, because there is no code here that could send you mail.

Rate limiting

Instead of tracking who you are, we cap the whole site: 20 conversions per day for everyone combined. When that is used up, the site tells you it is at capacity and you try again tomorrow. It is a blunt approach, and it means the site never needs to know anything about you to keep the cost survivable.

Analytics

We currently run no analytics on this site at all. No page-view counter, no tag manager, no third-party script of any kind. If that ever changes it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and anonymous, and this page will say so before it ships.

Delete my data

Email [email protected] with any question about this page. There is no personal data to delete. We never had your name, your email, or your file. Your upload is gone within the hour, automatically.
